ALPINE PAINT

This project demonstrates our experience working with smaller communities remote from our Colorado Springs home base. We established an early rapport with the town planners and other interested community members keen on upgrading the Silverthorne commercial district. Two on-site hearings were held with the Planning Commission and City Council and gained unanimous approval from each entity.

The   4,000 sf commercial renovation was Alpine Paint’s second business location in Summit County. Situated along a highly visible retail corridor, key project goals were to establish a presence and much needed exterior renovation to the existing low-rise and run-down structures. The heavy-timber entry canopy is utilized as a signage marquee. Corrugated metal panel and wood siding set an architectural vocabulary which conveys a corporate identity while satisfying the Town of Silverthorne's development standards. The project received an economic development grant and was voted Best Project by Town of Silverthorne Economic Development Committee.
